Had an awesome online session this morning. I played with the concept Berin gave me yesterday to use for our circling game.. using disengaging to keep his attention before his mind leaves. I used this along with mixing up what direction I asked for and when to come to me or not. It really tested his leadership and he got emotional about it, and had a few good runs around at the canter, but then he calmed down again with relaxation on the circle at canter. In our group lesson Berin had us work on change of direction. We used S patterns and falling leave to improve our draw and drive. Max did awesome in one direction and was getting flying changes easily and bending around me. The other side was quite difficult for him, so Berin had me draw him in to me and create this pattern, since he was having trouble drawing in and giving me the other eye. It ending great with him running in to me!
This afternoon I was on the administration rotation. Ann Kiser talked to my group about starting our businesses and giving us some things to research. It was very interesting and fun!
